ACORN GLOBAL — PUBLIC AI INTEGRATION GUIDE

Purpose: make ACORN's entire public service discovery and its existing paid digital products usable by any compatible assistant, without giving external AI financial or customer-data access.

STATUS
These URLs provide a first-party public, read-only service interface. They do not certify a registered external connector or partnership with OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, xAI, Microsoft, Mistral, Perplexity or any other AI provider. Each AI host must independently connect and validate the protocol.

MCP 2026-07-28 (STATELESS)
Use HTTPS POST, Content-Type: application/json, Accept: application/json, text/event-stream,
MCP-Protocol-Version: 2026-07-28 and Mcp-Method: tools/list.
Each request needs an _meta envelope with protocolVersion and clientCapabilities.

For tools/call, also send Mcp-Name matching params.name. The server has no external AI authorization role.

MCP 2025-11-25 (LEGACY STATELESS)
A legacy client may start with a POST initialize, even without MCP-Protocol-Version.

Then send notifications/initialized and call tools/list or tools/call. ACORN does not issue a stateful session, push requests or server-sent event stream. Some legacy clients requiring those will not be compatible.

READ-ONLY TOOLS
- acorn_public_catalog: three smaller starting scopes and nine canonical professional services.
- acorn_request_link: official URL for one service; does not submit a request.
- acorn_commercial_boundaries: public limitations and status.
- acorn_find_offers: search/paginate current fixed-price and custom-scope products. Filter all, direct, scope.
- acorn_offer_details: exact fixed-price or human quote record by public canonical product ID.
- acorn_hosted_checkout_link: get the existing Stripe Payment Link for a direct SKU only; nothing is purchased or charged through MCP.

Results distinguish HOSTED_STRIPE_LINK_EXISTING (product available to inspect and buy on Stripe)
from REQUEST_QUOTE_ONLY (no direct purchase). priceCents is the unit price in USD cents;
final totals and taxes may be calculated or displayed during Stripe checkout.

COMMERCIAL & SECURITY CONTRACT
There are two DIFFERENT commercial states: already-listed fixed-price digital goods and human services link to the pre-existing Stripe-hosted checkout; custom offers still require a free request and a reviewed quote. Prices in the custom scope catalogue are purely indicative in USD.
The customer must independently choose the product, review terms and any tax in Stripe, and pay personally. A Payment Link returned by an AI does not prove successful payment, order persistence, reconciliation or fulfillment.
No AI account, chatbot message or MCP client identity authenticates an ACORN buyer.
No creation of Checkout Sessions, charges, refunds, orders, customer-identity tokens, private receipts, payment credentials, internal CORTEX authority, secrets or agent execution is offered through these endpoints.
MCP has an aggregate allowance of 1,200 accepted requests per UTC day, HTTP 429 on exhaustion and HTTP 503 if the quota register is unavailable. This does not certify DDoS mitigation or zero hosting expenses.
The JSON catalogue is cacheable for 300 seconds and does not use a paid model. Provider-specific opt-in remains necessary.
A fixed, non-personal ai_mcp referral label can appear on an ACORN form-view analytics event, subject to browser tracking preferences. This label is not a sale or order, and no message text, account, email, URL token or customer reference is sent with that event.
